Our Team

Dr. Kristin was born and raised in St. John's. She moved to Michigan to completed her dental training at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Upon graduation she returned to her hometown to join the family practice founded by her parents Dr Gerry Fong and Coleen Seaboyer. With a passion for patient care and a commitment to continuing her family’s legacy, she and her husband, Dr. Shah proudly took over the practice in 2024.

Together, they have continued to build on the clinic’s long-standing reputation for friendly, high-quality dentistry while introducing modern techniques and a fresh approach to patient comfort. Dr. Kristin especially enjoys developing lasting relationships with patients of all ages and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Outside of work, she loves staying active, traveling, and spending time with her family and new baby girl.

Dr. Shah completed his dental training at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2018 and has been practicing in Newfoundland since 2019. 

Dr. Shah enjoys treating patients of all ages and offers nitrous oxide sedation to help patients with dental anxiety. Umer believes in the importance of continuing education and implementation of new technology to improve patient experiences and outcomes. He has completed extensive training in live implant surgeries and digital dentistry such as Same day Cerec Crowns. 

When he is not in the clinic he enjoys cooking, going the gym, traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid sports enthusiast and loves talking about all kind of sports!
